Your partner for precision workpieces
The Kempten plant division of Thöni Manufacturing produces high-precision, medium-sized, cubic workpieces with weights of up to 5 tonnes. Applications for these precision workpieces, including machine components, gearbox housings and axles, can be found in the fields of machine and plant engineering, wind turbine plants, 3D printers, vehicle manufacture, and compressor production.
Qualified personnel are responsible for buying in the cast metal and performing the annealing, coating and assembly processes to create your components.
Interconnected systems for a seamless process chain
Calculating and program generation activities are performed in 3D even at the work preparation stage. Using the ESPRIT programming system, we apply all information of relevance to production to generate programs.
Thanks to the central tool management program WINTOOL, current tool data is always available in all areas. A data chip on the tool holders ensures seamless processing, including tool breakage monitoring.
Component building takes place on manufacturing plants controlled by two master production computers.
This ensures a seamless process chain from the calculation stage through to the delivered component.

Our quality assurance department monitors the progress of all workpieces through the production process, from the receipt of raw blanks to shipment of the final components.
Our systems enable us to trace every work step performed.
We inspect and record the high quality of these workpieces, using high-precision portal-type measuring machines, including manual measuring facilities.
This enables us to ensure the quality and precision of products made at Thöni Manufacturing.

Since 1984, the Landeck Metal Works has been an essential cornerstone of our plant and machinery engineering division. The Landeck metal works builds all the systems for our environmental energy engineering, casting equipment and aluminium processing activities in our own custom manufacturing facility.
Plant components from Landeck are employed internationally
The Landeck metal works primarily produces made-to-measure plant components for TTV, TNV and casting equipment plants. Renowned international companies in the lift and cable car industry, machinery and plant Engineering, power station and turbine construction sectors number among our long-term satisfied customers. Since we produce our own systems, we are familiar with every detail of our plants and can react flexibly to individual customer wishes. Our satisfied customers all over the world are our best references.
Maximum quality thanks to highly qualified specialist personnel
The flexibility and wide expert knowledge of our employees are evidence of the excellent level of training we give to our skilled personnel. It is only thanks to them that we are able to produce plant components of such high quality. Since Thöni began its plant construction operations in Landeck in 1984, apprentice training has played an important role in our development in this area. Many of our former apprentices have gone on to become long-term employees at the company and are now contributing their own experience to its success.

Manufacture of key components for waste treatment and biogas plants. These special components include conveyors, feeding units, agitators, steel constructions and screw presses - Final assemblies and test runs
All systems produced at the Landeck metal works are assembled at our plant prior to shipment, where they undergo functional testing and quality inspection. This serves to optimise the delivery time as well as assembly and commissioning. - Mechanical machining
We specialise in producing complete welded constructions from individual components or small series, which also undergo mechanical processing

Casting Equipment
Thöni casting equipment systems have meanwhile established themselves all over the world in the field of horizontal continuous casting of non-ferrous metals.
We have been planning, producing and delivering horizontal continuous casting systems for several decades, for use in the production of ribbons, profiles and round formats from copper or copper alloys, aluminium-tin and precious metals. Our system production also relies on the extensive know-how available from the Landeck Metal Works.
